For years we talked about leaving the city and then we did it! We bought a farm and moved to Salmo from Victoria in 2018. For years, this farm only produced hay, and bit by bit, we are slowly adding new crops and shifting our production to veggies, fruits and berries, in order to help feed ourself, the people we love, and the wider area.

The learning curve has been pretty steep and we have learned a lot. Luckily the cats and our dog have been there to help, along with many human friends, both from the city and new friends here.
